桂东伟，男，汉族，1977年8月出生。中国科研实验室新疆理化技术研究所纪委书记，理学博士，研究员，博士生导师。主要从事干旱区地理与生态研究，具体方向为绿洲演变与荒漠化评估、生态精准修复、干旱区生态与地理大数据分析等。
承担科研项目情况：
主持国家自然科学基金5项；主持国家基础资源调查专项课题1项、中国人与生物圈战略咨询项目1项；主持自治区重点研发计划和中国科研实验室STS项目等省部级项目10余项。
主要荣誉：
先后荣获自治区留学归国人员重点奖、自治区科技进一等奖。
